To be, or not to be...

That is the question.

What is the point of a sucks site? Revenge? Yes, in my opinion it's mostly about good old payback. If you screw me I'll do my best to return the favor.

The internet is a fantastic medium for the dissemination of information, and it is still a baby. Every year the internet becomes more useful, in spite of all the popups and malware populating many sites, and the spam generated and delivered daily. You can use the internet to your advantage.

In addition to revenge, sucks sites offer many benefits to the internet consumer. A person can typically find a complaint on the internet, if there is one to be found, within a short period of time for almost any company that has existed within the last 10 years.

A well indexed sucks site can be found easily. Type in the name of the offending company, and add the word sucks. Try searching on Google for dick poe toyota sucks. You will notice that there are a lot of links available for that search term. Of the first ten search page returns, all 100 links either are for my sites, or are directly related to content from my websites, and ultimately leads back to one of my sucks sites. That is the viral nature of the internet.

I like to call this an adequate saturation for a search term. If you search Google using the term dick poe toyota, you will notice that I have five links on page one, five on page two, five on page three, and so on. This represents an exact saturation of 50%. I am aiming for 100% saturation for that term as well. Many people would consider 50% saturation a spectacular achievement. There are many sites dedicated to the concept that Toyota Sucks.

As far as sucks sites go, we have had tremendous success. We even have people stealing our blog name to generate traffic for them, like this liar. There's quite a few of them, and that's something new I'll have to deal with in my internet endeavors. I suppose I should be honored.

Sucks sites are a lot of work if you want them to succeed. What constitutes success? Primarily, to be considered successful you must be a pain in the ass for somebody.

Why are you there? What is your purpose? These are questions that do not usually arise when one first builds a sucks site. Those questions come later, if you are disciplined enough to maintain the site and improve it as you learn. A sucks site is useless if it has no readers.

So to continue being, a sucks site must develop an adequate infrastructure capable of obtaining placement in popular search engines for popular search terms. I have one list of new search terms that crashes my search ranking checker at 4,500 returns. I need a new search ranking checker.

As an example, search Google for toyota sucks. Today, I have links number 5, 6, 7 and 10 on page one of the search returns, and links 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 on page two, etc. Dick Poe Toyota Sucks and Toyota Sucks are becoming the biggest internet pain in the ass in the corporate history of Toyota. I am only one dedicated and motivated individual among many.

It is fully my intention to make corporations and companies across America take note of the fact that an average individual can impact sales and public perception to such a degree as to become impossible to ignore. Keep dicking us around and see what the future brings.
